According to White, Special Events scheduled for the 2021 season, weather permitting, include the following:
First Fridays – Musical Performance
Second Fridays – Arts and Crafts Night
Third Fridays – Food Truck Night
Forth Fridays – Movie Night
White also announced that, new this year, the Surry County Farmers’ Market will offer SNAP and $10 Off Punch Cards. SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), as White explained, “provides families with their basic nutritional needs to get them through temporary hard times.”
Saying that she is pleased to now offer the SNAP benefit for assisting people in need during the pandemic to Market shoppers, White also revealed that households within Surry County have been sent a Surry County Farmers’ Market postcard whereby customers, when they have spent $50, will receive $10 off their next purchase.
