SUSSEX – Sheriff Ernest Giles announced this week that two new deputies graduated from Jail Academy and have been sworn in and have begun work as part of Local Corrections.

Clinton Robinson and Christopher Ford, who graduated from Crater Academy’s 96th Basic Jail Academy on December 12, are now working at Sussex County jail, Giles said.  Robinson, in addition to his graduation certificate, was also presented with the Director’s Award at the ceremony – an honor reserved for a student “exemplary in every category, who shows leadership in his class.”
